High Power Heat Sink Is Not Just About Increasing Size (IV)

      The preferred methods for heat sink are adjusting the distance between LEDs and natural heat convection. Now  led high bay    chips are of high density and high temperature, therefore the heat sink for them are focused on heat conduction but rather less on heat convection. LED Lights manufacturers have thought of various of methods to improve heat conduction, but the heat many flow back if not conducted effectively. The structure of fin shaped heat sink needs optimization to enlarge the air contact area. Aerothermodynamics shall be applied rather than simply increasing the size of heat sink.
