The driving power of  led high bay   is the highest efficacy switching power all over the world. It is good reliability, long lifetime and meet standard of IP67 waterproofing grade. At present, it is widely applied to high bay, street light and other large power fixtures. The aluminous cover of package has good heat dissipation effect. Power selection is essential for normal operation of LED fixture. When selecting power, we need consider many factors and points.

According to drive mode, power is divided into two types, constant current and regulated voltage. Constant current driving circuit output constant current. However, the output voltage is changing in a certain range with the size of resistance. If the resistance is small, output voltage is low; if the resistance is large, output voltage is high. On the contrary, when all parameters in the circuit of regulated voltage are confirmed, output voltage is fixed, but the output current is changing within the size of resistance.

 

Secondly is high efficacy.

As an energy saving product, the driving power of LED fixtures are required high in efficacy. It is especially important for power to be installed in the structure of fixture. LED luminous efficiency is declining with the increasing of its temperature; therefore, we need focus on heat dissipation. If the efficacy is high, the wasted power is low and the heat value is low, too. In this way, it could decrease the fixture temperature. As a result, it’s benefit for postponing LED luminance decrease.   

 

Thirdly is surge protection.

With the start of power system load and thunder strike reaction, all kinds of surge would intrude from power system. Some of them may damage LED high bay. Therefore, LED driving power should have the ability to restrain the intruding of surge and protect LED far away from damage.  

 

Fourth is safeguard procedures.

The lifetime of driving power must match with LED’s lifetime. Besides, it must be suitable for the requirement of installation and electromagnetic compatibility. Meanwhile, the structure of power is waterproof and moisture proof and the cover is sun proof.
