LED Controller is to deal with and control switches by chip, which lie in the different places of LED light circuit. With the wide spread of LED light source, more and more customers apply to LED controller in  LED Flood Lights   and other industrial fixtures but suffer how to choose it. Check the following types of controllers in the market to know more about it.

Controllers for low voltage LED fixture

In general, the design of low voltage LED fixture is 12V-36V and the LED amount per circuit is 3-6 series. The current of every circuit is less than 20mA by decreasing voltage and limiting current of resistance. Every LED fixture is made by many LED circuit. The merit is low voltage with simple structure and design while the demerit is that it needs to configure low voltage switch power when there are many fixtures and the current is large. Because of the limitation of fixtures’ shortcoming, low voltage is unable to output for a long distance so that it is confined to small volume products. According to the feature, controllers have different design specification. 12V should choose 75A/30V MOS controller and the output current is 8A per circuit while 24-36V should choose 60A/50V MOS controller and the output current is 5A per. User could choose controller according to the specification. Jumping change selects NE20 series controller and gradual change selects NE10 series.

Controllers for high voltage LED fixture

The design of high voltage LED fixture is alternating current or direct current 220V and the LED amount per circuit is 36-48 series. The current of every circuit is less than 20mA. Even though there are two methods of limiting current, but it must use the method of resistance limiting current for the LED which is used to controller.

Controllers for low voltage LED fixture in series

The feature of this kind of controller is able to control many circuits, which could reach the purpose of control by serial signal transmission. It only need 4 controlling line for every 512 units and the type of controller could select NE040S series, whose maximum capacity could reach 4096Kbit.
