In the fixture market, LED light can be found everywhere, but how much do you know about it? Now, let’s introduce the basic knowledge of LED light from the following aspects, such as distinguishing the control function, the current and voltage of fixture, and so on.
Distinguishing the control function
1. Internal control and external control
Internal control: control chip lies in the internal part of fixture; therefore, it’s no need to connect external controller. Synchronized internal control demands to connect alternating current supply and switch on power.
External control: not all of the external control fixtures hasn’t control chip in the internal part. It needs external controller at this time. Generally speaking, the function of external control fixture depends on the function of controller.
2. Colorful and full colors
When referring to color, we must know more about the relative knowledge of three primary colors. In the terms of fixture, it means RGB, red, green and blue, which belongs to additive color mixture and is totally different from subtractive color mixture, red, yellow and blue. With the frequent change of the three colors of RGB, we could get a variety of colors, which nearly contains all the colors that our eyes could perceive. Colorful means simple mixture three RGB colors, while full color is quite different. In the model of RGB, every RGB element is able to changes freely in the range of 0~255 to display different color.
The current and voltage of fixture
As we all know, LED is the abbreviation of Light Emitting Diode. It is a solid-state of semiconductor device, which is able to directly convert electric energy into visible light. As one of the diode, LED has the basic feature. Therefore, LED is not only to have positive and negative electrode but also the voltage of two electrodes are fixed constant, about 2-3V. The small power of LED current is 18mA. 1W big power is 350mA and 3W is 700mA. In industry, led high bay is always applied to 1W big power of LED. If you want to LED shines, just simply make LED pass through the current that mentioned above.
