LED power is one of power source, which is a device that supplies power to electronic equipment, while LED driving power is a voltage converter which converts power supply into special voltage and current to drive LED give out light. The main element that influences the total lifetime of driving power is capacitance, whose lifetime in high temperature directly effects the lifetime of driving power. As a result, it influences the lifetime of the whole LED light.
So how to make LED light has much longer lifetime?
1.The quality is guaranteed, especially fixtures in the air, such as LED Street Light . It’s not convenience to repair if they are out of work.
2.The lifetime of driving power and chip should match so as to strengthen the lifetime of LED light.
3.Fixture should have the function of protection. For example, the shell should be added protective cover and the temperature of LED chip is combined with negative feedback to prevent high temperature.
4.It should have high efficiency and high power. If the efficiency of power is high, the dissipation is less and the temperature is low. In this way, it is benefit to prolong the lumens depreciation of LED.
5.It's usually to use constant current power supply to improve conversion rate.
