In general, led high bay light has always experienced a certain degree of optical attenuation when it is lighted up in initial stage. In order to provide customers much more stable products, LED manufacturers always arrange aging test before high bay light packaged. There are four aging methods about the fixtures.
Firstly, age several fixtures connection in series (constant voltage or current aging circuit). Any LED high bay light malfunction would influence the working current parameter of other fixtures.
Secondly, age several fixtures connection in parallel. The benefit of the aging method is that any LED high bay characteristic change would not influence the aging parameter of other fixtures. But in fact, it's unreliable to depend on the method of resistor limiting current because the change of resistor value or the voltage characteristic of high bay would greatly impact the aging parameter of fixture.
Thirdly, age several fixtures in series-parallel connection (series-parallel constant voltage or constant current aging). Like the first aging method, any high bay malfunction would influence the working current parameter of other fixtures.
Finally, age single fixture with constant current. It is the most scientific method up to now because it catches hold of the characteristic of fixture's current.
The aging of LED high bay light is a most important process. Only pass through aging successfully can deliver to customers.
