Q2: How long does the battery pack last per charge if light remains on for several hours? Can an external battery be used in place of the battery pack?

E-LITE: The solar panel must be in direct sun light for at least 6-8 hours per day… This would allow the unit the necessary charge that is needed to power this unit from dusk to dawn daily. Adding an external battery is not necessary for this unit. T normal battery life is 1 to 2 years.

Q3: Can the solar panel be mounted in a separate place than the light? If so, how far it would be?
